My very first blog!

So, I fear that this past election season (more like a year or so) may have driven some of my friends away because of my outspoken support of Barack Obama and my commentary on the race in general. However, I have come to enjoy commentating on the haps of the political world and sharing what I've found. So that has brought me here, to write where people can read if they want, but ignore if they so desire.

Think of me as the Carrie Bradshaw of the hybrid of pop culture and politics.
